There is no place quite like  Franklin County, Florida.  Located on Florida's Northwest Gulf Coast about an  hours drive from Tallahassee, the capital of Florida.  On the eastern boundaries of the county you find the lovely homes of Alligator point, then stop and admire the picturesque marina found in Carrabelle. You can lose your heart while walking the sand beaches of Julian Bruce State Park on St. George Island, or driving through the fishing community of Eastpoint, not to mention browsing the antique and curio shops of Apalachicola.  If woods and rivers are more to your liking then drive North on Hwy 65 into Apalachicola National Forest or Tate's Hell National Forest.  It doesn't matter where you live in Franklin County, the Council is dedicated to reaching out to the senior citizens.  It is our goal to help them maintain their well-being and remain self-sufficient.  We want each senior to become an involved part of the community by planning and providing services and activities that help them reach their goals.
